Can you upgrade Vista RC1 to RC2?

Last Updated Wednesday, January 23, 2008 4:51 PM

Has anyone tried upgrading Vista RC1 to RC2? Is it possible? I've got RC1 running at home, don't want to reinstall right now if I have to. If I can upgrade to RC2 I'll do it, otherwise I'll wait for the final release before I start over.

Thanks for the help

I don't think you can. They disable any type of Upgrade until RTM from what I recall in previous versions.

I missed the boat and am trapped with RC1, is it possible to download a copy from anywhere, or is someone prepared to burn me a copy, of course all cost to my account. ? vk4kbg-0@bigpond.com.au Beerwah Queensland Australia

i'd say the first problem there is that you're using x64. apparantly, so many people have been having problems with it, which i hope microsoft has sorted out.
