Another weekend, another hobby!!!! Why oh why! I blame one of the owners of Engage Software, Henry Kenuam for the latest fun. We had a small business planning retreat Friday and Saturday. We went off to a cabin near Warrenton Missouri for two days of talking about the business and where we want to go, fishing, drinking, and poker. It was a great weekend, we got a lot done and had a lot of fun to boot. Some of the pictures are uploading right now of the fishing fun. I had a great time, catching 11 or 12 bass in about 3 hours of fishing time. The pictures that are uploading now are just from Saturday before we left, I'll try to get some of the Friday photos off the various cell phones...
What did I do tonight? More than most nights! I got home and decided it was time to tear into the motor that blew in the 240Z. So I did that! I found the piston. Well, I found some of the piston, in 100+ pieces. After working on the car tonight I had dinner with my wife, then came upstairs and was planning on getting some work done. Instead I opened up my Bass case and plugged into the amp. I played for quite a while, far longer than I expected, mostly learning some Green Day tunes. I must admit, I think I was born a base player, not a guitar player. I find it so much easier to just pick up and play a song, though, bass parts are generally...
That is the question for 2008? How many hobbies is too many? Here's a list of the ones I want to do so far.... (in no particular order) 1. Play more golf 2. Get the 240Z running 3. Race the Corvette (alot) 4. Play and Record Music 5. Home Automation 6. Developer more cool DNN modules How many of those have I done so far this year? So far #1, started on #5, and always do #6 Nick and I went to the driving range today for a while. We're hoping to play 18 holes...
