A little site redesign for ChrisHammond.com

So for the past week I’ve been working on a new skin/layout. It’s not much, but it’s a start of cleaning up my personal site a little. I’m going to be making some tweaks to the formatting of the way the blog posts are displayed over the next couple of weeks. In order to do that though I need to get the 5.3 version of Engage: Publish released so that I can get to work on the templating system for the module that will allow me to do the new formatting that I want.

What do you think of the new look?

New design looks great!. It's cleaner and easy to follow. And I love the idea of adding the templating mechanism in Publish. It's going to be kick-ass

Hi Chris, it looks good. Only comments I would have is that right now your top level nav just has an item called pages, and everything is under that. Looks like there is room for them all to be on the top level. Not sure you need the 'random photo' caption. I think its fine for the photo to just be there, and be random. Like the subtle text effect on your name in the title.
